Dr. Carl Meinhart
Dr. Carl Meinhart is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California – Santa Barbara. He obtained his PhD from the University of Illinois in 1994. Since coming to UCSB in 1996, his research has focused on developing microfluidic devices and investigating their fundamental transport mechanisms. He has 140+ publications and conference papers, which have been cited more than 8,000 times. He holds 10 issued patents and is the founder/co-founder of three startup technology companies.
